Abracardabra!

Abracardabra is the name of a secondhand booksellers in Kew East, Melbourne. It is like an Aladdin’s Cave of books, magazines, all sorts of paper ephemera and other kinds of collectibles. I always love to visit there – it has an olde-worlde atmosphere, with its multiple levels, creaky stairs, a little rabbit warren of rooms, and dusty windows through which the sunlight streams, creating pools of light amongst the shadowy bookshelves.

It’s a magical place! You never know what you’ll discover there.
