MTC Annual Appeal
In 2018 and 2019, I art directed the campaigns for the Melbourne Theatre Company Annual Appeal.
In 2018 we held a photoshoot with creatives, subscribers and staff members, and I lead the team to create a vast backdrop against which we could shoot numerous group and individual portraits that could be variously utilised in the print and digital campaign.
In 2019, with budgetary restraints, a different approach was required. As it was the theatre building’s tenth anniversary, we celebrated with an anniversary logo, combining it with an enormous collage of actors that I created from decades of production photos.
For each campaign, numerous pieces of collateral were created, such as posters, flyers, editorials and numerous digital items promoted on social media.
I was responsible for art direction, styling, image post-production, design layout, typography and finished art.
